Just for You

Hello again

I've been so busy making Christmas cards but I don't want to share those yet! (I had a whole day playing with flitterglu and gilding flakes yesterday!)

So I've had a trawl through the photos for a card you won't have seen.

A bit pretty, pretty this one, but I quite liked it and the recipient certainly did!  I used a Tattered Lace (Victorian Oval) die for the main die cut and those pretty daisies were made using a die that came free with a magazine.

All for now,

Get Well

Not one 'Trick or Treater' came to our door, despite our wonderful pumpkin lantern (made by grandson and myself) being displayed in the window!  Anyone interested in five trick or treat boxes complete with chocolate eyeballs?

Our neighbour is very ill in hospital so I made this card to try and cheer her up- or at least let her know that we're wishing her well.  I used autumnal colours because I love them , but they're all around anyway.

The bottom part is texture paste through a stencil and inked with distress inks.  The flowers are Woodware stamps coloured with distress markers and fussy cut, then shaped.  The rose hips shine with glossy accents, but that's not really visible in my photograph.  I must try and find a photographer to help me with these.

That's all for now.  Hope all's well with you.
